Naomi L. Baum, Ph.D., is an educational psychologist who has spent the last decade creating and implementing resilience building programs for those exposed to trauma, both man made and natural. She currently directs the Resilience Unit at the Israel Center for the Treatment of Psychotrauma (ICTP) in Jerusalem, where she has travelled the country from north to south bringing her resilience building model, the BRI, to schools and communities that have experienced trauma. Naomi has also introduced her programs internationally, working in trauma stricken communities in Biloxi, MS, Haiti, Mexico and Spain. She has been a consulting psychologist for schools and and taught courses in psychology at the university level. She received her B.A. from Bar Ilan University, and her M.A. & Ph.D., Bryn Mawr College. She likes to spend her spare time travelling with her husband and scuba diving and hiking with her children and grandchildren.
